My iPod only plays on one headphone!!?

Question

My iPod only plays on one headphone!!?
My iPod only plays out of the left speaker. If I pull the plug out a little it will play on both, but will only play the left headphones noise so on some songs it ruins it. I think it I messed up the hole you plug the headphones into.

Answer

I promise, you didnt break your iPod. Your headphones sound like theyre shot though. Youll notice that if you play with the main wire where it meets the thicker rubber at the base, youll hear static and music will pop up every once in a while in the broken earphone. brbrHeadphone wires are notoriously weak, and dont last that long. I have to get a new set every four months or so. brbrIf you want to make sure its your head phones before you go out and buy another pair, borrow a friends for a moment and try them in your iPod. Chances are, youll hear everything just fine.brbrOn the off chance it IS your iPod, you can take it up with Apple if your warranty is still good.brbrGood luck!brbrbrEDIT brI read your addition. If it is definitely your iPod, you have a few choices.brbr. You can go to an Apple store. Their employees are really helpful. But where I live there is no Apple store, and you may have that delimma as well, so brbr. httpwww.apple.comsupportipodabrThats the iPod support page. Im not sure which model you have, but choose that one and move on from there.brbr. Your could contact the corperation by phoneemail, but those are always a bit of a hassle.brbrAgain, I hope that helps you, and good luck!
