My iPod Touch is frozen and wont turn on, what should i do?!?

My iPod Touch is frozen and wont turn on, what should i do?!?
I try to turn on my iPod, but it wont turn on. Ive plugged it into my computer and the Apple logo comes up, but then stays frozen on the screen. Eventually, a white screen pops up then the screen goes blank. The charge symbol comes up for about a minute, then the Apple logo comes up again and it just continues like that for awhile. How do I fix this problem?

look online.... for the ipod nano u have to hold the menu and center button, and it works all the time.... If you cant find anything just let it run out of battery and turn it back on
